Rehearsal Status: Rehearsal is CANCELED!
Rehearsal Announcements: Today's rehearsal is canceled due to weather. Next week all students will play entire Britten Symphony individually and from memory in order to make up for the lost time..... just kidding.....enjoy the day off! :)
Important Announcements
- GT orchestra begins on thursday 9/20 at River Hill. Rehearsals begin promptly at 4pm, therefore you must ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 3:50 IN ORDER TO BE IN YOUR SEAT READY READY FOR A DOWN BEAT AT 4!
- EO begins on Wednesday 9/26 at Marritts Ridge HS. Rehearsals begin promptly at 4pm therefore you must ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 3:50 IN ORDER TO BE IN YOUR SEAT READY READY FOR A DOWN BEAT AT 4!
- Rehearsals end promptly at 6pm and all parents must pick up their children at EXACTLY 6pm.
- There is a $200 yearly fee for particiation in the orchestras. Please make your check payable to HCPSS and include your child's name and school on the memo line of your check. Thanks.
- Selection Process: Audition scores are the primary basis for placement in the orchestras. However, in close scores careful consideration is given to providing the best opportunty for each child.
Rehearsal Locations
Please make sure you know where your orchestra rehearses:
- The GT Orchestra rehearses at RIVER HILL
- The Enrichment Orchestra rehearses at MARRIOTTS RIDGE.
Rehearsal Days
- MSEO Wednesdays 4- 6 pm Marriotts Ridge HS
- MSGTO Thursdays 4 – 6 pm River Hill HS
