Parent Volunteers
Special GT Volunteer Needs Fall 2007
We need volunteers to prepare the roster and the orchestra email list for the GT orchestra.. If you are good with a word processor, please consider volunteering to do one of these jobs. All of the information is already in digital format, and only needs to be organized. Please email us if you would like to perform this essential task.
Help with Putting Away Chairs
Parents are an essential part of the GT Orchestra. We especially need parents to help straighten up and put away chairs at the end of reheasals. If each parent signs up at least once, we should have each rehearsal covered.
Thursday Chair dates from which you might choose:
- Sept. 27
- Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25
- Nov. 1, 8, 16, 20, 29
With four or five parents on each date, the work goes very quickly (5 or 10 minutes). And you benefit by missing the after rehearsal parking lot chaos!
We could also use a parent to coordinate the chair schedule. All that involves is overseeing the list of parents who is signed up for that day. We will send the volunteer list as it comes in from the site.
